Showcase Event Information
SCHEDULE AND LOCATION INFORMATION
April 1, 2025. 8am – 4pm

SCHEDULE
March 31st
Teams will arrive in Washington, DC. Upon check-in at the hotel, each team will receive a welcome packet containing pertinent showcase information.
After check in please join us for a Meet & Greet Reception from 4pm-6pm on the 9th floor of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Center. Light refreshments will be offered and you can connect with other teams.
April 1st
Teams arrive 8am to check in at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center. We will gather together at 8:30 a.m. for a group Orientation & Welcome breakfast celebration on the 9th floor. At 10am teams can set up their presentations. The showcase will be open to the general public at 11am.
TRAVEL & LODGING
TRAVEL: Johns Hopkins University will cover the costs of roundtrip economy/coach class airfare or Amtrak travel for 4 members of your team. Your air/train travel will be booked by World Travel, Inc. (WTI), based on the information provided in the registration link.
RENTAL CARS: Rental cars are not authorized for this event and will not be booked by WTI or reimbursed by Johns Hopkins University.
ACCOMODATIONS: Johns Hopkins University will cover the cost of up to 4 rooms per team including tax at Yotel Washington at 415 New Jersey Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001 for arrival on March 31st at 3pm. You will provide the four names for the room reservations to Lanita Jones, and she will add those rooms to the Johns Hopkins Master Bill. The hotel will ask for a credit card for incidentals during your stay. That card would only be charged for purchases made by your group during your stay (e.g., in-room movies, meals, etc.).
There will be a link for additional rooms at a group rate of 259.00 per night made available at registration. If you would like to extend your stay beyond April 2 (at your own expense), you must contact the hotel directly to have the reservation extended. If you need additional rooms, you will make those reservations directly with the hotel.
PRINTED MATERIALS
The Everyone Graduates Center will provide each team with a School Tabletop sign for your exhibitor table with your school’s name and logo.
School Tabletop Sign Requirements: Please email the name of your school as you would like it to appear on the sign and a high-resolution image of your school logo to EGC’s Media Coordinator at ghowell@jhu.edu.
The Everyone Graduates Center can also provide additional printed materials for your exhibitor table. You can use these posters to augment your exhibit.
Each team can order two (2) 24” x 36” table posters with easels and one (1) 18” x 24” table poster with easel. Your team will create the content for your posters.
School Printed Poster Requirements:
- Submit a separate PDF file for each poster size you wish to have printed.
- Please include your school name (or initials) in the PDF file name.
- Upload your PDF files to the National School Redesign Showcase Google Drive. Use the button or QR code below.

TEAM VIDEO
We’re asking participants to create a short video introducing the members of your High School Redesign Team. The video will be shown at National High School Redesign Showcase. Please include the name of school in the file name of your video. You can upload your video using the link or QR code below.
